dedication!

clay shoes! the delacate one looks nice, looks like its melting away were as the other is just a big beast! haha so i spray painted them to make them pritty and disco-ey looking! and ofcourse you see my gorguse shoe that i lost the other of so i dedicate this to my fav pair of shoes! x

A few wee things here a pic that i think is so sucsesful in showing motion of my feet! well done me! also my ink spins where i placed wet paper on a turn table dropped inks in them and spun them to show movment and represent a record, cd etc... and lastly my metal cut outs of shoes! i love how ruff they are they shall come in handy for my final me thinks!

WALKING IN MY FOOT STEPS

This is what iv been working on in my sketch book. im trying to build up lots of images ideas that i can make a colage out of rip things up and make a mess really. iv chosen these things as they are my fav bits from my fav cd covers and i think it will help represent music and the type of music culture that im interested in.
i have also put in gig tickets that i have been too and drew my shoes over them.

SHOES SHOES SHOES!

im actually enjoying this project but i think its just because i get to look at shoes and wear and study dancing in my shoes! How pritty! if anyone knows any artists that could relate to my work i would apricate it if you left a wee message of them! Iv dicided what my breif will be, it should be something along the lines of...... try to create a piece of work that resembles music without actually having music played! To do this i thought what do you do to music?.... you dance! what do you dance with?... your feet! what do you wear on your feet?.... SHOES! yeah! Bring it on!

Now looking at me shoes! yummy! some pics then a few drawings of them,



in the later drawings you can see iv tryed to bring music into it by writing lyrics over the page. Unfortunatly some of the drawings have bright colours and the scanner hasnt picked them up.


I took my idea of shoes and went to wood work making 4 of these icon shoes shapes! my handies hurt after it but they look lovely!



I hope to go and try make a few more from metal and clay to build up something with layers?
